• Supervise and coordinate production staff. • Assign daily jobs and responsibilities to team members. • Ensure staff understand their assigned tasks and instructions. • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality and productivity. • Track jobs from the beginning of production until completion. • Monitor pending, ongoing and completed jobs. • Follow up on delayed or incomplete jobs. • Ensure production deadlines are met. • Prioritise urgent jobs appropriately. • Ensure staff follow established procedures and instructions. • Maintain discipline and order within the production office. • Identify production problems early and escalate serious issues to management. • Ensure completed jobs are properly checked before leaving production. • Coordinate with management and other departments when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Must be 35 years or older. • Previous experience supervising staff, managing an office, coordinating operations or holding a leadership position. • Strong ability to organise people and coordinate multiple tasks. • Good follow up and accountability skills. • Ability to assign responsibilities and ensure they are completed. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work with deadlines and handle pressure. • Good attention to detail. • Ability to identify problems and take appropriate action. • Ability to maintain discipline and ensure staff follow instructions. • Must be responsible, reliable and trustworthy. • Must be able to use a smartphone. • Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Previous printing, production or packaging experience is an advantage, but it is not compulsory. Printing knowledge is not required for the position. The necessary production processes can be learnt on the job.

Requirements & Skills

A university degree, HND, OND, NCE or other relevant qualification is an advantage, but it is not compulsory. We are more interested in the candidate's maturity, leadership ability, practical work experience, discipline, organisation and ability to coordinate people effectively. Candidates from other industries are welcome to apply if they have previously supervised staff, managed operations or held a position of responsibility.
