Work Setup

Install, configure and test interactive flat panels, smart boards, projectors and related classroom equipment. Set up video conferencing equipment, conference systems, digital podiums and LED displays. Install and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, access control systems and network infrastructure. Carry out preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs and equipment servicing. Conduct site assessments and identify installation requirements, materials and tools. Train customers on equipment operation and provide technical support after installation. Prepare installation reports, maintenance records and customer handover documents. Maintain accurate records of equipment, spare parts and tools assigned to technical operations. Coordinate with sales and administration teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines. Follow safety procedures and obtain approval before incurring project expenses. Escalate faults requiring specialist attention or replacement parts.

Responsibilities

Ability to install, configure and troubleshoot Android and Windows-based devices. Knowledge of LAN/Wi-Fi setup, IP addressing, network switches and structured cabling. Familiarity with HDMI, USB, audio connections and wireless screen-sharing systems. Ability to mount equipment securely and route cables neatly. Competence in using diagnostic tools, cable testers and basic electrical testing equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and follow installation procedures. Requirements & Skills

OND, HND or a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. At least two years of relevant experience in technical installation, maintenance or field support. Practical experience in audiovisual systems, networking or CCTV installation. Relevant technical certifications are an added advantage. Candidates with strong practical skills and relevant vocational training may also be considered.
