Work Setup

Monitor the health and welfare of poultry and livestock. • Diagnose diseases and recommend appropriate treatment. • Administer vaccines, medications, and preventive care programs. • Supervise farm attendants and ensure proper animal management. • Maintain accurate records of livestock health and production. • Advise management on biosecurity, nutrition, and farm hygiene. • Conduct routine farm inspections and disease surveillance. • Support farm productivity through improved animal health strategies.

Requirements & Skills

Doctor of veterinary medicine (dvm) or b.Sc / hnd in animal science. • minimum 3 years practical experience in poultry or livestock farms. • experience with large commercial farms is an advantage. • must be willing to work on-site when required. • must have good communication and teamwork skills.
