- Conduct regular on-site visits to assess operations, production systems, livestock, crops, equipment & infrastructure. - Carry out physical stock takes (livestock, crop inventory, inputs, equipment) and verify records. - Analyze farm business performance (costs, revenues, margins, resource use) and identify risks and opportunities. - Provide clear, practical, prioritized recommendations to improve efficiency, profitability and compliance. - Develop implementation plans, budgets and timelines for agreed solutions. - Support management during implementation (technical guidance, training, supplier/vendor recommendations). - Prepare and submit professional reports after each visit, including findings, recommendations, action plans and KPIs; accept responsibility for report accuracy and timeliness. - Monitor outcomes & follow up to measure impact & adjust recommendations as needed. - Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct; represent consultancy service - Create Market

Responsibilities

Required qualifications & experience - Degree or diploma in agriculture, farm management, agribusiness, animal science, crop science, or related field. - Minimum 5 years’ practical on-farm experience and proven track record in farm advisory/consultancy. - Experience in stocktaking and inventory management for livestock and/or crops. - Strong business acumen: budgeting, cost analysis, performance metrics. - Proven ability to prepare clear, accurate reports and take responsibility for deliverables. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple sites; own transport preferred

Key skills & attributes - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to present to owners and managers. - Practical, hands-on approach and ability to work independently. - Proficient with MS Office and basic farm management software; familiarity with accounting or ERP systems a plus. - Attention to detail, reliability and integrity.
